OCTOBER 31, 2023 — UTSA has announced that the second fall 2023 Commencement ceremony will begin at 4 p.m.—instead of 3 p.m. as previously stated. The time change will ensure that traffic in and around the Alamodome can be managed as efficiently as possible, including ensuring that guests and graduates of the earlier ceremony have had sufficient time to clear the parking lots.
Both ceremonies will be held on Saturday, December 9, at the Alamodome.
UTSA’s first Commencement ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. to honor graduates from the College for Health, Community and Policy, the College of Liberal and Fine Arts and the College of Sciences.
The second Commencement ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. for graduates of the Carlos Alvarez College of Business, the Margie and Bill Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design, the College of Education and Human Development and University College.
More than 3,100 UTSA students will be eligible to receive their degrees in one of the two ceremonies that day.
